One of the event industry's leading organisers is looking for a Head of Content to lead the content strategy on a portfolio of confexes whilst leading a small team of talented producers.
As Head of Content, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing compelling event agendas
- Identifying emerging industry trends
- Ensuring our content remains relevant, commercially valuable and audience-focused
- Leading and developing the content team
- Collaborating closely with commercial, marketing and operations colleagues
- Playing a key role in driving the continued growth of our event portfolio
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and delivering the content strategy across a portfolio of events
- Working closely with sales teams to maximise commercial opportunities while maintaining editorial integrity
- Collaborating with marketing to create compelling campaign messaging and promotional content
- Monitoring event performance and using audience feedback and data to continuously improve content quality
- Managing content planning, production schedules and team priorities
You'll be an experienced content leader with a background in conferences, exhibitions, publishing, media or B2B events. You should have some management experience and exposure to large-scale events, a strong commercial awareness alongside excellent editorial judgement, and excellent project management and organisational skills.
