Ref: 35732

Following strong growth and a series of events that have consistently exceeded targets, a private equity media business is looking to expand its team as it looks towards an intelligence transition. They are looking for an investor intelligence manager to help them with their transition into the intelligence market by providing insight spanning from investor profiles, evolving market trends and anonymised reports on asset allocation trends among other responsibilities. The intelligence market is seen as key to unlocking recurring revenue and investor interest.

You will focus on building relationships with institutional LPs, family offices and private banks, and be tasked with finding out their needs as well as broader market behaviours. You will also be able to contribute to the intelligence offering as it grows and aid in the management of a year-round programme for buy-side members.

As the offering matures you will find ample opportunities to develop professionally within this sector. Ideally, you will be keen to speak to investors and engage in conversations that uncover investor priorities, asset allocation decisions and emerging investment trends.

Key responsibilities

  • Holding a steady volume of introductory calls with LPs, family offices, and private bank CIOs, alongside deeper one-to-one relationships with senior investors
  • Liaising with the programme team on emerging themes
  • Building and running a programme for community members, including webinars, closed-door meetings, and producing reports
  • Contributing to intelligence outputs such as investor profiles, benchmarking, and anonymised market summaries

Key requirements

  • Experience in a contact-led role in journalism or conference research
  • Comfortable speaking to senior investors and uncovering what they need.
  • Ambition: a self-starter who is comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving business
  • Familiarity with private markets
  • Existing LP contacts are a plus
