A boutique healthcare communications agency with modern offices in the heart of central London is looking for an account manager (or very experienced senior account executive) to continue their career in healthcare PR and communications. This might suit an AM or SAE from a network healthcare communications agency who would like to move somewhere smaller, to an independent agency which does seriously good quality work – the type that wins awards – where you will get far greater opportunities and promotion as soon as you are ready.

You will work on global and UK projects spanning crisis and issues management, corporate reputation, internal comms, patient advocacy and activation, social and digital and product and unbranded comms, and UK media relations. In practice this can mean a host of exciting projects from disease awareness, patient engagement or mental health campaigns for key NHS workers and women’s health, to communicating innovations in genetic testing to HCP audiences and global corporate comms.

The Account Manager’s role: You will have experience in a healthcare PR agency and want to work in an independent agency where you will get more variety, exposure to senior staff and clients. Passionate about healthcare communications and doing work that makes an impact, you are a critical thinker who wants to develop as a strategic consultant (not just a tactical deliver).

Responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day running of 4 or 5 client accounts
  • Contributing to creative free thinking and innovative ideas
  • Managing projects and events – you’ll need strong organisational skills, to balance competing priorities and manage your workload
  • Writing and editing materials
  • Media relations and social media

This is an opportunity to join an organisation where you can truly make a difference. Not only that your development and wellbeing will be championed and prioritised. The agency provides structured professional development opportunities and great socials, as well as a competitive benefits package.
