The role

We are seeking a purchase ledger assistant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a high-volume SME environment processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the wider finance function.

Key responsibilities:

  • Process high volumes of supplier invoices and manage AP inbox
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Set up new suppliers on the finance system
  • Prepare and process supplier payment runs and ad-hoc payments
  • Post payments to finance system in a timely manner and match against invoices.

Requirements:

  • Previous accounts payable experience desirable
  • Confident communicator
  • Basic Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems
  • DB Capture experience would be beneficial.
