As our Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of the Stone & Surfaces Show. You’ll lead the charge in building strong relationships, closing high-value deals, and uncovering growth opportunities — all while ensuring every exhibitor receives exceptional service and attention.

Key responsibilities:
  • Sell exhibition space, sponsorship packages, and digital offerings to both new prospects and returning clients.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with revenue goals and broader event objectives.
  • Proactively generate a robust sales pipeline through industry research, trend analysis, and outbound outreach.
  • Cultivate long‑term client relationships that span multiple event cycles, supporting retention and loyalty.
  • Represent the show at key industry events, networking functions, and face‑to‑face meetings, acting as a brand ambassador.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with the Event Director, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and actionable insights to inform strategic planning.
  • Champion the show’s growth and help position it as a must‑attend event within the construction and design industries.
  • Achievement of or overperformance against revenue targets.
  • Year‑on‑year growth in exhibitor retention and client lifetime value.
  • A steady and growing pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Acquisition of strategic partners and high‑profile sponsors.
  • Positive feedback and strong satisfaction levels from exhibitors and stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking a commercially astute, proactive, and personable sales professional who thrives in a high‑energy, target‑driven environment. You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within exhibitions, events, media, or a related commercial environment.
  • Confidence engaging with senior decision‑makers and securing high‑value deals.
  • Familiarity with — or the ability to quickly understand — the construction, interiors, or architectural sectors.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A highly collaborative mindset combined with a self‑starter attitude.
  • Strong time management and organisational capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Prior exposure to the interiors, architecture, or construction sectors is advantageous but not essential.
