The Role
We’re seeking an experienced and highly motivated Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and delivery of UK Construction Week’s marketing campaigns, driving exhibitor engagement, sponsorship visibility, and visitor attendance. This is a pivotal role within the portfolio, responsible for ensuring UKCW remains the most recognised and commercially successful brand in the UK construction events calendar.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Delivery- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for both UKCW London and Birmingham editions, aligned with commercial and brand objectives.
- Identify key audience segments across the construction supply chain and deliver targeted campaigns to attract visitors, exhibitors, and sponsors.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to keep UKCW at the forefront of the industry.
- Plan and manage integrated multi‑channel campaigns across digital, social, print, email, PR, and partnerships.
- Oversee all creative, messaging, and content to ensure consistency with UKCW’s brand and tone of voice.
- Track campaign performance, analyse data, and report on key metrics including visitor acquisition, conversion, and ROI.
- Develop and manage engaging, insight‑driven content that reinforces UKCW’s position as the home of innovation and thought leadership in construction.
- Collaborate with editorial, partnerships, and design teams to produce promotional assets, newsletters, press releases, and video content.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, media partners, associations, and internal stakeholders.
- Support exhibitor marketing initiatives and ensure sponsors receive maximum exposure pre, during, and post‑event.
- Manage and mentor the current marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with the wider Media 10 marketing team to share learnings, insights, and best practices across the portfolio.
About You
- Proven experience in event marketing, ideally within B2B exhibitions or conferences.
- Strong understanding of audience acquisition, digital marketing, and lead generation.
- Strategic thinker with excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders and partners.
- Experienced in using CRM, email automation, and analytics tools to inform decisions.
- Passionate about the construction and built environment sector (or eager to learn).
