This is a contract, on-site role located in Newmarket for a Medical Secretary with Healthcode experience. Responsibilities include managing appointment scheduling, handling patient correspondence and enquiries, maintaining accurate medical records, and performing general clerical tasks. The Medical Secretary will also liaise with medical staff and Health Insurance Companies to ensure the smooth administration of patient services, using Healthcode and other medical office software as required. Providing professional and empathetic support to patients is a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications
- ESSENTIAL - Must be experienced with using Healthcode
- Strong skills in Appointment Scheduling and Clerical Tasks
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medical Office procedures
- Proficiency in Typing and other relevant computer skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Previous experience in a healthcare or medical setting is an advantage
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in patient interactions
