MedGen Healthcare is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to adults with a range of health and support needs.
This role involves working with adults in community and care settings who may require assistance with daily living, personal care, mobility, and other aspects of their care and wellbeing.
The Role
Support adults with daily living activities, including personal care, washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding where required.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and oxygen saturation, where required.
Assist with medication administration where appropriately trained and authorised.
Encourage independence and support individuals to participate in social, recreational, and community activities.
Provide reassurance, companionship, and emotional support.
Maintain accurate care records and promptly report any changes in an individual's condition or wellbeing.
Promote a safe, clean, respectful, and person-centred environment.
Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of care.
Requirements
Minimum 6 months' UK healthcare experience.
Experience supporting adults in a healthcare, care, or community setting.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Right to work in the UK.
