As an RGN working in complex homecare, you will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and responsive nursing care in line with individual care plans and NMC standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care within the patient's home.
- Manage and monitor complex clinical interventions, which may include:
- Tracheostomy care and suctioning
- Ventilation support (invasive and non-invasive)
- Enteral feeding (PEG/NG)
- Catheter care
- Wound management
- Stoma care
- Medication administration (including IV therapy where required)
- Oxygen therapy
- Seizure management
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in this role and 3 years UK healthcare experience.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Practical Manual Handling & Basic Life Support certification.
- Active NMC Pin (RGN).
- Driver's License (preferred but not essential).
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK; MedGen does not hold a UK Sponsorship Licence.
Benefits
