Location:Plymouth Job Types: Full-time | Part-time | Temporary (Ongoing) MedGen Healthcare is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with a range of general health needs. This role involves working with children and adolescents in community settings who may require support with complex care needs, or additional physical support. The Role * Support children and young people with daily living activities, including personal care, washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding where required. * Assist with mobility and positioning, ensuring comfort and safety at all times. * Monitor and record vital signs (e.g. temperature, pulse, respiration, oxygen saturation) as directed. * Assist with medication administration (where trained and authorised). * Encourage participation in age-appropriate play, education, and social activities. * Offer reassurance and emotional support to children who may feel anxious about medical procedures or hospital environments. * Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in a childs condition promptly. * Promote a safe, clean, and child-friendly environment. Requirements * Minimum 6 months UK healthcare experience. * Experience working with children and adolescents. * Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
