Medequip Connect provides services to over 10,000 people nationwide with the objective of providing reassurance and support to older, disabled or vulnerable people allowing them to remain safely in their own home.
We help people maintain their independence by providing Technology Enabled Care (TEC) and a range of associated equipment that gives them the confidence of knowing that assistance is available at any time, 24 hours a day.
About the role
As the Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Coordinator for Medequip Connect, you will provide technology enabled care expertise and support for Adult Social Care and Health services as part of a wide-ranging role including person-centred assessment, installation, review and analysis, training of professionals and stakeholder engagement. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and introducing assistive technology solutions for service users.
- Working directly with Adult Social Care staff to ensure technology is embedded as part of a wider care strategy.
- Supporting the company to be agile in terms of its use of assistive technology to demonstrate outcomes and future-proofed services.
- Undertaking holistic needs-based TEC assessments and creating tailored packages.
- Planning and delivering assistive technology demonstrations.
- Providing technical advice and support for users and their support networks.
- Leading on the delivery of key project elements as part of the rollout of a wider Technology Enabled Care programme across Wiltshire and other counties.
- Promoting the introduction of mobile-focused assistive technology solutions.
- Working with the TEC Regional Operations Manager to create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
- Providing liaison with various County Council departments.
- Increasing referrals to the company’s self-funder services.
- Overseeing the implementation and ongoing maintenance of TEC solutions.
- Providing data analysis for performance reporting systems.

Qualifications and experience required:
- Willingness to work flexibly on occasions regarding attendance at meetings, external conferences, and other events.
- Educated to GCSE or NVQ or equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience.
- An excellent range of IT skills, including experience of using the ‘Office’ suite of applications, complex databases, and other software platforms.
