About the Role

As the Customer Services Coordinator at Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd, you will be the first point of contact for our service users, their families and health providers. You will ensure the correct product, in the correct condition, is delivered and installed to clients in an appropriate and caring manner within the specified time frame and agreed specifications. Your role is key to providing an exceptional customer experience from the first point of contact.

Responsibilities

  • Managing inbound and outbound calls – liaising with service users, families and prescribers
  • Booking all delivery rounds in advance for Technicians and Service Engineers
  • Ensuring client and delivery details are correct, up to date, and updated in the system where necessary
  • Relaying emergency requests to technicians and warehouse staff appropriately
  • Answering emails, queries and complaints within Medequip agreed timeframes to an exceptional standard
  • Assessing the Technician’s workload to ensure each day’s jobs are varied and evenly distributed
  • Showing empathy, patience and remaining calm while adopting a positive attitude to difficult situations under pressure

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Experience in a customer‑service focused role, preferably within a similar industry
  • IT and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Desirable: experience in medical equipment services or the NHS
  • Will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory references
  • Right to work in the UK – not eligible for sponsorship
