About the role: As the TEC National Operations Manager for Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd you will lead national TEC operational services, driving high-quality performance, innovation, customer satisfaction and commercial success across installation, maintenance and responder services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Delivering the company’s business strategy and profitability through high levels of service provision and performance against KPIs
- Deputising for the Head of Medequip Connect across operational, business improvement and business development functions where required
- Leading national TEC installation, maintenance and responder operations
- Driving continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence across services
- Managing customer and contractual relationships to ensure high standards of service delivery
- Supporting budget setting, financial management and operational planning processes
- Leading on operational assessment and implementation of new business opportunities and contracts
- Ensuring compliance with TSA Quality Standards Framework, British Standards and contract requirements
- Supporting data quality standards and operational reporting across contracts
- Leading workforce management, colleague wellbeing, recruitment and retention initiatives
- Driving customer satisfaction and positive outcomes for service users, carers and stakeholders
- Developing effective operational processes, procedures and performance management frameworks
- Managing and developing regional operational management teams
- Supporting service development and business growth opportunities
- Leading contract and customer meetings and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
- Ensuring health and safety, environmental compliance and quality standards are maintained nationally
- Supporting the development of Medequip Connect’s self-funder and private pay services
- Delivering effective training programmes to operational teams
- Supporting collaborative working across Medequip Connect and wider organisational teams

Qualifications and experience required:
- Degree in Business Management, Business Administration or related discipline (Master’s desirable)
- 7+ years’ operational management experience, including at least 3 years within a digital or technology-enabled environment
- Proven operational leadership experience within healthcare technology, telehealth or Technology Enabled Care services
- Strong understanding of Social Care and NHS structures, TEC regulations and commissioning models
- Experience in data-driven decision-making, service improvement and operational analytics
- Experience working across technology, clinical operations and service user environments
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement and change management skills
- Demonstrated ability to scale services and manage performance across complex operational environments
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational and workload management skills
- IT literate and comfortable using digital systems and technologies
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
