About the role
As the Specialist Engineer for Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd you will be responsible for assessing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Assess, inspect, service, and repair equipment in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.
- Receive, process, update, and confirm work orders using computer‑based systems.
- Install, deliver, service, and repair equipment at customer premises.
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Provide professional and courteous customer support, answering technical queries where required.
- Work independently to manage assigned tasks and service visits.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Manage tools, equipment, and spare parts required for service and repair activities.

Qualifications and experience required
- Full, valid driving licence.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required; will have access to a company van.
