Medequip is the leading provider of medical equipment services to local authorities and the NHS across the UK, delivering a wide range of equipment and support to people in their own homes, keeping people independent for longer. Manage At Home, Medequip’s online retail business are looking for a reliable and motivated warehouse operative to join our growing team. The role primarily involves ensuring that all stock is received, stored, picked, packed and despatched safely and accurately. Manage at Home specialises in mobility and disability aids that are designed to promote independence at home.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Unload incoming deliveries and check goods against delivery notes.
  • Accurately pick, pack and prepare customer orders for despatch.
  • Assist with loading and unloading stock.
  • Help with quarterly stock take activities.
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and well organised at all times.
  • Process product returns in a timely manner and liaise with customer service team with regards to listing on clearance section.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required by line manager.
  • Comply with any reasonable instruction from your line manager within the agreed deadline.
  • Comply with all Medequip Company policies/procedures and site rules and regulations.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
  • The job involves lifting and carrying so a good level of physical fitness is required.
  • Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Good communicator and quick learner.
