Salary: £28,390 per annum
On call allowance: 1 x £100 retainer fee for the week of on call plus £60 per each call out attended. (You will be on call approximately once a month)

As the new Service Engineer for the Newport Depot, you will be responsible for covering the Gloucestershire area, reporting to the Newport Depot once every 2 weeks.
About the role:
As the Service Engineer for Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing equipment in service users' homes and in house. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Delivering and collecting disability equipment to service users' homes, hospitals, and health centres.
- Multiple service jobs daily, some of which can be heavy and may include beds and other large, heavy items of equipment.
- Providing polite, empathetic and client focused service.
- Undertaking risk assessments.
- Using a weight rig to service and maintain hoists, which may involve some heavy lifting.
- Understanding and demonstrating the correct functionality and safe installation of items, identifying repair and replace and damaged or faulty stock.
- Adhering to timeslots and liaising with service users if this is not possible.
- Being on call on a rotational basis receiving enhanced allowance during this period.

Qualifications and experience required:
- Ideally 1 year or more experience in a similar role within public, healthcare or a service based industry.
- Must have a service or maintenance background.
- Must hold a full, in date driving license.
