Company Description

Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) provides life-saving emergency relief and longer-term medical care to some of the most vulnerable and excluded communities around the world. As an independent medical humanitarian organisation, we deliver care based only on need, regardless of ethnic origin, gender, religion or political affiliation. MSF relies on donations from private individuals and organisations for the majority of its income. This private funding gives MSF the freedom to respond where needs are greatest and to speak out publicly, free from any political interference. MSF has around 67,000 local and international staff working in over 70 countries, in some of the most challenging places in the world.

Position

The Data Insight Officer is an integral role within the CRM and Insight team. Working alongside the Data Insight Specialist, multiple Department Heads and team members across fundraising, you will be responsible for supporting the improvement of existing reporting, delivering insight projects and assisting in the implementation of machine learning in our fundraising function. You will be joining a highly successful and fast-paced fundraising team who raised over £100 million in 2025. We have an ambitious fundraising strategy and the analysis driven by the insight team will play a significant part in the development of MSF UK’s strategic fundraising goals. It is therefore vital that you have a keen eye for detail with the ability to highlight trends and patterns in data and present those findings to key stakeholders.

This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in the not-for-profit sector and to develop your analysis skills, working with advanced data tools, including our data warehouse and to be part of an exciting transformation as we embed predictive analytics and machine learning into our fundraising work. So, if you’re looking to excel in the area of data insight and you’d like to be part of supporting strategic change for a medical organisation, we want to hear from you.
