Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) provides life-saving emergency relief and longer-term medical care to some of the most vulnerable and excluded communities around the world. At MSF UK/IE, we support MSF's operations by building relationships with our supporters, increasing awareness of our work, raising funds, providing specialist medical expertise, ensuring MSF staff have access to relevant higher education programmes, catalysing change on medical humanitarian issues, and recruiting field staff. Are you an experienced CRM Officer looking to make a real impact in the not-for-profit sector? MSF UK is seeking a CRM Officer to join our dynamic, high performing Fundraising team. Committed to innovation, MSF UK delivers vital funds and raises awareness of MSF’s humanitarian mission. Working closely with the CRM and Data Insight Manager and two CRM Officers, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our CRM - creating complex data selections, managing data imports, improving system functionality, enhancing data quality, and producing insightful performance reports.

We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a methodical and proactive approach. Your work will directly support income growth and our future fundraising goals. Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri

Duration: Permanent

Location: London - hybrid, 2 days per week London Office (including Wednesdays)

Salary: £40,682.16 per annum - £49,722.64 per annum

Salary is offered in line with our pay framework and typically starts at the entry point of the band. Salary increases are considered annually and are subject to our appraisal and performance review process.

Job Purpose: The CRM Officer plays a pivotal role, providing the day-to-day support needed to ensure there is a functioning CRM system for the Fundraising team. Working under the supervision of the CRM and Data Insight Manager, the CRM Officer is responsible for managing regular data imports into CRM, providing data selections, reporting performance analysis, system development, team training and running data cleansing routines. They are also responsible for developing and maintaining system user guides.

Requirements:

  • Considerable experience of CRM database systems, within the non-for-profit sector.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics and Power Automate is essential.
  • Experience of using KingswaySoft or another ETL tool with good programming skills such as SQL.
  • Experience of segmenting and building data selections for Fundraising supporter communications.
  • A systematic and organised approach with a proven ability to follow things through and meet regular deadlines.
  • An excellent level of numeracy combined with accuracy and attention to detail around data processing.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Excel to an advanced level including the ability to produce and manipulate data to inform Fundraising activities.
  • Experience of gathering data from various sources and producing reports.
  • Confident interpersonal and negotiating skills with an ability to manage and build relationships with external suppliers, as well as with colleagues.
  • Self-motivated, flexible and able to work without close supervision.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload amid conflicting demands.
  • Flexibility to take on other related tasks combined with willingness to learn.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Commitment to the aims and values of Médecins Sans Frontières.
  • Experience in the practical use of personal IT equipment and Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • The ability to effectively collaborate and communicate within a hybrid working environment utilising Teams, SharePoint, One Drive and Yammer.
