Role Overview
An NHS Trust is urgently seeking experienced and dedicated Locum SHO Doctors to join various departments including ENT, General Surgery, General Medicine, Psychiatry, and Trauma & Orthopaedics (T&O). Successful candidates will support clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient care within busy NHS hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, investigate, and manage patients under consultant supervision.
- Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and on-call rotas as required.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Adhere to GMC and NHS clinical governance standards.
- Deliver safe, patient-centred care at all times.
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (valid and in date).
- Minimum 6 months' NHS clinical experience at SHO level or above.
- Experience in one or more of the following specialties: ENT, General Surgery
- Excellent communication and clinical skills.
- Valid Right to Work in the UK without restrictions.
- Recent experience within the relevant specialty.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and on-call duties.
- Flexible working arrangements.
- Ongoing support from the Medical Staffing team.
- Opportunity to gain further NHS experience across a range of specialties.
Essential Requirements
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (valid and in date).
- Minimum 6 months' NHS clinical experience at SHO level or above.
- Experience in one or more of the following specialties: ENT, General Surgery, General Medicine, Psychiatry, Trauma & Orthopaedics (T&O)
- Excellent communication and clinical skills.
- Valid Right to Work in the UK without restrictions.
- Available to start ASAP.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous NHS locum experience.
- Recent experience within the relevant specialty.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and on-call duties.
