Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant (HCA) - Hull
We are looking for caring, reliable, and compassionate Support Workers / Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Hull. You will provide person-centred care and support to individuals, helping them maintain their dignity, independence, safety, and wellbeing.
Key Duties
- Assist with personal care, dressing, washing, toileting, and mobility.
- Support with meals, hydration, medication, and daily activities.
- Provide emotional and social support.
- Monitor and report changes in service users' wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and infection-control procedures.
- Work effectively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Previous care or healthcare experience is desirable but not always essential.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and flexible with shift work.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Satisfactory DBS and employment checks.
