Med Care Pediatric is seeking a
Bilingual Patient Scheduler to coordinate pediatric home health therapy visits across Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech Therapy (SLP).
This role is essential to ensuring children receive timely, consistent care by matching patients with the appropriate clinicians based on authorization, location, availability, and continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule new and ongoing pediatric therapy visits based on physician orders, authorizations, and plan of care.
- Coordinate schedules for Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and therapy assistants.
- Match patients with the most appropriate clinician based on location, availability, clinical needs, and family preferences.
- Proactively fill open visits resulting from cancellations, schedule changes, or clinician availability.
- Communicate scheduling updates, cancellations, and changes with families and clinicians in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate scheduling information within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and scheduling system.
- Monitor Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance and assist with resolving scheduling-related issues.
- Track upcoming authorization expirations and coordinate with internal teams to help prevent interruptions in patient care.
- Support new patient scheduling and help reduce wait times for therapy services.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to maximize therapist productivity and ensure efficient scheduling operations.
Qualifications

- Bilingual in
- English and Spanish

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of scheduling, healthcare coordination, medical office, dispatch, or customer service experience.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications.
- Basic understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
