As a Patient Scheduler, you will have the opportunity to be a part of transforming the lives of children and their families. Responsibilities:
  • Primarily responsible for coordinating patient and therapist schedules
  • Develops and implements systems of organisation to assist in efficient scheduling of clients
  • Contacts families for any applicable changes and confirmation of client schedules
  • Answers, fields, and returns telephone calls, emails, and voicemail messages accordingly
  • Acts as a liaison for call-ins and coordinates coverage and communication to appropriate staff
  • Completes and ensures patient consent forms are signed prior to, or at the time of, initial evaluation
  • Completes patient intakes and enters information in the system following set protocols
  • Assists with duties of front desk responsibilities as needed to include but not limited to managing phones, collecting co-pays, checking patients in, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish required
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting preferred
  • Must be able to handle high call volume
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Be highly energetic, goal oriented, and self-motivated
  • Demonstrate a highly professional and positive attitude
  • Demonstrates strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Outlook, Word, TEAMS, and Excel programs
  • Be able to read, write, and comprehend English
