Seeking Full time RPSGTs needed DUE TO GROWTH - additional pay per shift for attending/scoring productivity! MedBridge Healthcare is seeking an experienced RPSGT to work in our Wilmington, NC sleep lab at Sleep Care of Wilmington. The position will provide sleep services on an as needed basis to facilitate MLSTs as needed. Competitive hourly rates available, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating tests and collecting data.
  • Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results.
  • Following proper polysomnographic procedures, including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks.
  • Scoring clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulating final data for further review.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or higher education level.
  • Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program.
  • Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists and a license from the NC Medical Board.
  • Certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS) and/or CPR.
  • Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear.
  • Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Required use of hands to operate office equipment.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
