Medaxis Talent is currently recruiting experienced and dedicated Senior Care Assistants to support a care service in Chesterfield. We are seeking reliable, compassionate, and professional individuals who are committed to delivering outstanding care and support to service users. The service is looking for consistent workers who can provide regular availability and build positive relationships with residents and the care team.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Senior Care Assistants looking for ongoing agency work with regular shifts available following a successful induction period.
- Deliver high-quality person-centred care to residents.
- Administer medication safely and accurately in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily living activities.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate care records and medication documentation.
- Support junior care staff and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and organisational policies.
- Ensure health and safety policies are adhered to within the service.
Previous experience working within elderly care settings is highly desirable, including experience working within residential, nursing, or care home environments.
Mandatory Certifications & Training:
- Medication Management Training Certificate
- Mandatory Training Certificate
- Face-to-Face Medication Administration Training
Must be local to Chesterfield or have reliable transport allowing travel within 30 minutes of the service. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to commit to regular shifts. Willingness to undertake a free induction/shadow shift to ensure suitability for the service.
Competitive hourly pay rates, flexible working patterns, day, night, and weekend shifts available, weekly payroll, ongoing and regular work opportunities, and opportunities to work with established care providers.
Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one) and proof of qualifications and training certificates are required.
