Medasource is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Position Overview
This is a hospital-based MRI role supporting high-acuity patients. The technologist must be comfortable working independently at times and handling complex exams, including pacemakers and anesthesia cases. This is not an outpatient-style MRI environment.
Requirements
- Registered MRI Technologist
- ARRT (MR) required
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital setting
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent patient care and customer service skills
- Previous travel experience not required

- GE MRI scanners
- Medtronic pacemaker systems
- High-acuity inpatient population
- Pacemaker scans and anesthesia-supported cases
- Strong understanding of hospital-based MRI workflows required

Weekly Pay Package Breakdown – MRI Technologist
- Base Hourly Rate: $32/hr
- Hours per Week: 40 (4×10s)
- Overtime: Paid after 40 hours
- Taxable Income: $1,280 / week
- Non-Taxable Income (Stipends):
- Housing: $770 / week
- Meals & Incidentals: $476 / week
