Medacy is looking for a locum clinical pharmacist to support practices whilst working from home.
The successful candidate will be comfortable using both EMIS and SystmOne and be confident to work across all clinical areas.
The role will involve playing a full and active role as part of the practice\βs multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate for the role will have:
- Independent Presciber Status
- Previous GP Practice experience
- At least three years of post-graduate experience
- Excellent Clinical knowledge
- The commitment to continue learning and developing.
- The confidence to work as part of a busy GP practice
- The ability to adapt to convey information to patients and fellow healthcare professionals.
- The minimum requirement is 15 hours per week.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete medication reviews
- Process specialist treatment letters
- Care home support
- Support practice dispensary
- Process hospital discharge letters
- Serve as the primary point of contact in practice for all medication-related inquiries.

- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
