Role overview
Are you a registered Psychiatric Doctor looking for a new challenge where you can put your in-depth mental health training to use every day? Medacs Healthcare is looking for medical professionals who are passionate about, and experienced in, the science of psychiatry.
Working flexible shifts, you will diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of mental health, behavioural and emotional disorders in the role of Psychiatric Doctor.
The setting in which you are based will be wide-ranging too. As a Psychiatric Doctor you may be based in either inpatients or outpatients at Parkview Clinic, or rehabilitation environments. You may need to visit your patients in residential care, prisons, schools, or in their own homes.
Skills focus
The work of a Psychiatrist is always engaging and challenging, sometimes moving, occasionally frustrating but often rewarding, sometimes when this is least expected. You will frequently liaise with and learn from highly experienced colleagues in other medical fields such as general medicine, radiology, or neurology and with non-medical colleagues including psychologists and social workers. There is always someone on hand to turn to for advice, or to chat to.
