About the Role
Medacs Healthcare is delighted to be working in partnership with Operose Health to recruit an Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Clinical Practitioner for their team at The Practice Northumberland Avenue, Southend-on-Sea. This permanent, full-time role offers you the opportunity to make a real difference in primary care with Operose Health. If successful, we will support you throughout compliance and onboarding, so you feel confident and ready to start your new role.
About You
You are an experienced Advanced Practitioner with a passion for delivering high-quality care in a primary care setting. You are NMC registered, with advanced clinical practice or working towards non-medical prescriber status. You have a minor injury and illness qualification and are committed to maintaining and monitoring high standards of care. Ideally, you hold a Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner qualification, or you are accredited or working towards ACP status.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients from initial history taking and clinical assessment through to diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
- Demonstrate safe, evidence-based clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis for patients within general practice.
- Work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet patient needs, support policy and procedure delivery, and provide nurse leadership as required.
Requirements
Essential:
- Experience in a primary care setting.
- NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice or working towards non-medical prescriber status.
- Minor injury and illness qualification.
- Ability to maintain and monitor standards of care.
Desirable:
- Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner or working towards ACP accreditation.
