Sonographer (Obs & Gynae) – Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Job Title: Sonographer (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) Location: Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, SW10 9NH Contract Type: Locum Salary: £38- £45 per hour About You: Are you a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology looking for a locum role? We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer to support our client in delivering excellent services. Key Responsibilities: Perform a comprehensive range of obstetric scans including nuchal translucency scans, anomaly scans, and growth scans. Conduct gynaecological ultrasound examinations using both trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal approaches. Utilise Doppler ultrasound techniques for assessment of blood flow, including umbilical artery and middle cerebral artery. Contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care within a fast-paced clinical environment. Essential Qualifications: We are looking for an experienced Sonographer (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) with: Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (e.g., MSc/Diploma). HCPC Registration. Minimum 2 years\’ experience as a qualified Sonographer, ideally within the UK healthcare system. At least 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
