Overview

Join Medacs Healthcare as a PIP Functional Assessor (Registered Nurse) in Gateshead. You will assess, discuss, and report on how conditions impact daily living through face-to-face and telephone assessments. This is a rewarding hybrid role based in Gateshead.

Note: Currently we are not able to sponsor work visas in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, discuss, and report on how conditions impact daily living through face-to-face and telephone assessments
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patient needs and functional ability
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as required to support patient care

Essential Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted NMC registration
  • Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)
  • Applications also welcome from HCPC Registered Paramedics, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists
  • Minimum 1-year post-registration UK experience (NHS or private healthcare)
