Are you a qualified Recovery Practitioner with a minimum of 6 months UK-based post-registration experience and a passion for patient-centred care? Medacs Healthcare have a fantastic opportunity for a recovery nurse to work as part of the surgical recovery services team. We are recruiting a recovery nurse to work in anaesthetic and recovery phases across Glasgow. Whether you are looking for flexible hours or want to expand your clinical experience, this role offers the opportunity to work with leading consultants and highly experienced surgical teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll deliver high-quality care to patients in the anaesthetic and recovery phases of surgery, collaborating with anaesthetists and surgical teams to ensure safe and effective outcomes.
- Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing and monitoring patients pre-, during, and post-surgery
- Supervising and supporting junior staff
- Creating evidence-based care plans
- Ensuring continuity of care across wards
- Using advanced technology and equipment in a varied caseload

Essential:
- HCPC or NMC Registration (RGN/ODP)
- Minimum of 6 months UK based Operating Theatre experience
- Right to work in the UK (No visa sponsorship is available for this role)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
- Experience in paediatric recovery
