About the Role
As a locum Consultant Psychiatrist in CAMHS, you’ll play a vital role in supporting young people with complex mental health needs. Your responsibilities may include:
- Conducting psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Developing and overseeing treatment plans
- Working closely with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams
- Providing clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- MBChB or equivalent medical degree
- MRCPsych or FRCPsych or equivalent
- Full GMC registration with a specialist licence to practise in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Section 22 Approved
- A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
- UK Right to Work
