The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Approved Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and testing in compliance with current regulations and company standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team of up to 6 employees.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation.
- Set out jobs from drawings and specifications and requisition the necessary materials.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work.
- Willing to accept responsibility for the quality of your workmanship and that of your colleagues under your control.
- Demonstrate competence and have obtained an NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation work (or approved equivalent).
- Completed test & Inspection 2391/52 or equivalent.
- Hold a valid driving license.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in hazardous environments.
- Possess qualifications of SSSTS, CSCS card & IPAF.
