About The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team!
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ready to deliver exceptional results on behalf the business.
This vacancy is a full time position.
This is a mobile position; therefore, the successful candidate will be expected to work across a magnitude of our client’s sites across a variety of industries.
Skills And Experience Required
- Oversee a portfolio of contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms, performance requirements, and organisational procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters, maintaining effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage and lead a team of engineers, providing coaching, support, and performance management to ensure high levels of productivity, engagement, and service delivery.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
- Monitor contract performance against agreed service levels, key performance indicators (KPIs), and contractual obligations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Lead contract negotiations, amendments, extensions, and renewals to achieve commercially beneficial outcomes.
- Maintain accurate contract records and documentation, ensuring all information is up to date and accessible.
- Work collaboratively with operational, finance, procurement, and legal teams to support contract delivery and compliance.
- Review and analyse contract terms and conditions, providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier and contractor performance and support the resolution of any contractual disputes or performance concerns.
- Produce regular reports on contract status, risks, performance, and financial commitments.
- Support procurement and tender processes, including evaluating contractual requirements and contributing to bid submissions.
Skills
- Good working knowledge of local contract laws and corporate policies, strong research skills and a good understanding of legal agreements.
Good understanding and Knowledge of SFG20.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership and management skills
- IOSH managing safely and/or NEBOSH desirable ( training can be provided)
