Job Overview:

  • Location: Kings College London – working across three campuses
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
  • Start Date: Immediately
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Reporting To: Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance and reactive tasks to plant on client site
  • Complete all relevant job tasks on PDA including Risk Assessments
  • Provide Further works reports where required
  • Liaise with the client concerning work completed and any further works required
  • Update contract managers with relevant client or site information
  • Inform administrator of any site or plant changes / site plant asset management
  • Collect parts from supplier or head office where applicable
  • Provide weekly timesheet to office on a Monday

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completed applicable apprenticeship and possess relevant AC and Refrigeration industry qualifications, including up-to-date Safe Handling (2079)
  • Comprehensive working experience from an HVAC and Building Services environment
  • A continuous history of employment within the HVAC and Building Services industry
  • Proven technical knowledge of a wide spectrum of Air Conditioning systems and plant including VRF, VRVS, AHU’s, Coldrooms and Specialist Refrigeration
  • Ability to develop and be part of a team. Manage their own time, works and paperwork
  • Capable of building long-term relationships with clients both existing and prospective
  • Positive attitude “can do will do”
  • Flexible in approach to hours and solving problems on site
  • Commercially astute, driven to identify and generate additional works / sales
  • Provide technical support to administration staff as required
