Mecsia is a leading UK provider of technical inspection, maintenance, and engineering services, aiming to transform the industry with a 'Local Service, National Reach' approach. The company has grown significantly through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, including seven business units serving large clients in different sectors including commercial offices, healthcare and educational facilities. Under private equity ownership since 2020, Mecsia has expanded to approximately 1,600 employees. In 2024, Mecsia was acquired by Synova, recognised as PE house of the year for four of the last seven years, who supports an ambitious growth strategy through service excellence and further acquisitions.
We're looking for a Commercial and CRM Manager to lead how Mecsia uses our CRM (HubSpot) and turn it into the evidence base behind our commercial decisions across the Group. You'll combine hands-on CRM ownership with a sharp commercial lens, making sure pipeline, performance and margin are visible, trusted and acted on. You'll also be responsible for how we manage our contracts, ensuring commercial levers are acted on in a timely and effective manner, and documentation is appropriately managed.
This role sits at the centre of our commercial operation. You'll work with senior stakeholders across our companies, keeping data accurate, processes disciplined and reporting clear.
Key Responsibilities- CRM
- Data hygiene: Set and maintain high standards for data quality, governance and consistent ways of working across all locations.
- Ownership: Own and develop our HubSpot platform, keeping data clean, structured and trusted across the Group.
- Integrations: Manage integrations between CRM and our wider systems, so information flows reliably and without manual workarounds.
- Reporting & insight: Build reports and dashboards that give senior leaders clear, evidence-led insight into pipeline, performance and commercial risk.
- Enablement: Support sales and commercial teams with process, training and practical guidance that improves how they operate.
- Commercial translation: Translate commercial considerations and analysis into solutions, working closely with stakeholders across our 11 companies.
- Pipeline & forecasting: Own pipeline visibility and commercial forecasting, partnering with sales leaders to keep the numbers credible.
- Commercial analysis: Interrogate CRM data to surface pipeline, margin, win-rate and conversion trends that sharpen commercial decisions.
- CLM
- Lead on CLM systems and processes to apply across central functions and group companies.
- Set and maintain standards for documentation and knowledge management relating to all contracts held by the group.
- Establish review and sign-off processes in line with agreed delegation of authority.
- Maintain standard contract templates and update as required in line with group commercial and risk protocols.
- CRM experience: 5+ years using HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Commercial acumen: Experience working within a sales environment, with good commercial acumen.
- Commercial analysis: Comfortable interrogating pipeline, margin and conversion data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
- Integrations knowledge: A solid understanding of integrations within CRM.
- Problem-solving: A logical mindset and a strong ability to solve problems.
- Communication: High standards of written and verbal communication.
- Stakeholder influence: The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- AI fluency: Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate analysis, reporting and day-to-day work.
- Microsoft Office: Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Power BI or similar: Working knowledge is a nice-to-have.
- Academics: Demonstrates a strong academic background.
- Problem-solving: A logical mindset and a strong ability to solve problems.
- Communication: High standards of written and verbal communication.
- Composure: Patience and level-headedness under pressure.
- Data hygiene: Meticulous attention to detail.
