Make a difference in Scotland's Gypsy/Traveller communities. MECOPP (Minority Ethnic Carers of People Project) is Scotland's leading Black and Minority Ethnic carers' organisation. We work to reduce inequalities, improve access to culturally responsive services, and support some of the most marginalised communities across Scotland. Thanks to funding from the Scottish Government's Gambling Levy, we have established our new Better Wellbeing Service, designed to address gambling harms, improve wellbeing and strengthen support for Gypsy/Traveller individuals, families and communities.

Roles and Responsibilities

Community Workers will raise awareness of gambling harms, support community members to access services, promote wellbeing and help ensure community voices are heard.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must be members of the Gypsy/Traveller community as this post is subject to a Genuine Occupational Requirement.
