The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to unload, move, load and store raw materials, finished paper products, and packaging materials within the Shotton Mill facility.
  • Responsible for the inbound and outbound vehicle unloading, warehousing operations, inventory accuracy, ensuring efficient movement of goods to support production and outbound dispatch schedules whilst maintaining high safety and quality standards.
  • Always ensuring a high level of health and safety attention, to ensure accurate and safe operations of the warehouse.
  • Contribute to the logistics KPIs within your areas of responsibility to ensure optimisation of performance, leading to efficiency, cost reduction and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to a positive safety culture by reporting all faults, damages and safety hazards immediately.
  • Maintenance of accurate records, reports and documentation as required.
  • Participation and contribution to continuous improvement, and the utilisation of standards including 5S and ISO.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Previous knowledge of safe loading, stacking and transport procedures.
  • Excellent awareness of Health and Safety standards.
  • Awareness of Operational Efficiency and Continuous Improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A desire to grow and develop within the business.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment with a flexible approach.
