The role is to fully manage a busy Autocentre, the garage is part of a major national repair chain. The Autocentre Service Manager will be responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the workshop and MOT lanes. The goal is to achieve, or exceed, the branch monthly MOT, labour and parts targets as well as deliver the very best customer experience.
The Autocentre Service Manager role requires a strong management style, and the candidate will be expected to show an understanding of the structure of a business, business processes, site profitability, workshop loading, targets and how to achieve them. Above all, the Autocentre Service Manager needs to demonstrate they can effectively manage and build a first-class team of Technicians and MOT Testers.
Either franchise or independent experience required, and a mixture of both is desirable.
