We are seeking a Site Services Engineer to join our team at the Stublach Gas Storage Facility in Cheshire. This role is critical in ensuring safe operations, managing the site estate, and maintaining strong relationships with local stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee safe operations at the Stublach Gas Storage Facility, prioritising the safety of personnel, contractors, and the environment.
  • Manage civils activities, facilities, and land management works across the site.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for interactions with landowners and tenant farmers.
  • Lead preventative maintenance activities and ensure operational areas remain defect-free.
  • Maintain and update buried services drawings; advise on service locations for civils-based work activities.
  • Develop and manage estate maintenance projects, including building fabric, roads, fencing, drainage, and landscaping.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Land Management.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (desirable).
  • Experience using CAT & Genny to locate existing services (EUSR Category 1: Locate Utility Services desirable).
  • Skilled in contract management and developing project scopes, programmes, and budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly CDM regulations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

This is a site-based role at Stublach, Cheshire (CW9 7SE).
