Our client is growing their Major Projects / Build to Rent (BTR) division and is looking for a driven Project Manager (Mechanical) to lead some of the most exciting PBSA and high-rise residential schemes across the UK. With project values ranging from £1m to £10m, this is a standout opportunity for a Project Manager who thrives on technical challenge, stakeholder engagement, and high-quality delivery.

What You'll Be Doing as a Project Manager:

  • End-to-End Leadership: Take full ownership of mechanical and plumbing services across multiple high-value projects, ensuring they're completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborative Communication: Act as a central point of contact between clients, designers, contractors, and internal teams-keeping everyone aligned and informed.
  • Technical & Design Oversight: Review drawings, technical specifications, and compliance requirements to maintain high standards from concept to handover.
  • On-Site Presence: Conduct regular UK-wide site visits to inspect installations and ensure everything aligns with project goals and best practices.
  • Commercial Awareness: Handle budgets, manage cash flow, monitor subcontractors, and proactively address risk-keeping projects commercially sound.
  • Safety & Quality Focus: Drive high standards in health & safety, contractual compliance, and build quality.

What We're Looking for in a Project Manager:

  • In-depth technical knowledge of mechanical and plumbing building services.
  • A minimum of 8 years' construction experience, with at least 5 years in contract or project management.
  • A strong background in high-rise or residential construction is ideal.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to drive results through your team.
