The Delivery Lead is accountable for the success of customer engagements at Mechanical Orchard. Partnering closely with an Account Executive, this role owns delivery outcomes, aligns client and company goals, and ensures high-quality execution across complex, cross-functional programs. The Delivery Lead serves as the primary point of ownership for engagements, driving execution, managing risk, and building trusted, long-term client partnerships.
As Mechanical Orchard's platform and partner ecosystem mature, success in this role increasingly centers on maximizing the value delivered through the Imogen platform and enabling successful partner-led execution.
As a Delivery Lead at Mechanical Orchard, you may be expected to:
- Lead and mentor crossâfunctional teams of engineers, PMs, and designers, fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment while empowering teams to execute, innovate, and make decisions.
- Own the endâtoâend success of customer engagements, including delivery outcomes, timelines, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary delivery contact for client stakeholders and executives; communicating progress, challenges, decisions and next steps to maintain alignment and momentum.
- Drive crossâfunctional execution across teams in Engineering, Product and Sales.
- Oversee delivery planning, execution, and operating rhythms (planning sessions, standups, demos, and client updates).
- Partner with operations and finance to support resourcing, forecasting, and engagement financial health.
- Partner with Account Executives on account strategy and delivery planning.
- Foster strong, productive collaboration with the Imogen platform team to ensure the platform is leveraged to its fullest potential in customer engagements, while providing timely, actionable feedback based on field experience.
The ideal candidate has:
- 10 years of experience in technology or software, 5 years of experience in people management.
- Experience leading complex, clientâfacing delivery programs in consulting, professional services, or implementation environments.
- Strong program and delivery management skills across crossâfunctional technical teams.
- Experience delivering enterprise software, platform, or infrastructure implementations.
- Partnering with sales or account teams in preâsales and expansion contexts.
- Proven ability to manage executive stakeholders and navigate ambiguity.
- Experience owning outcomes, risks, and delivery quality endâtoâend.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
