Our client needs an experienced Engineer to design bespoke special purpose scientific equipment.
Under the guidance of senior engineers the Engineer will provide detailed designs of sub-systems and components.
Projects are conducted at both group and local levels so some travel is expected.

The ideal candidate will have the following profile:
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- Hands on experience
- 3D CAD design experience
- Microsoft office capable (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Accurate, thorough, consistent, pro-active, assertive
- Good communication skills
- Team player
Any or all of the following would be pluses:
- Experience in material science
- Experience in vacuum systems, pneumatics, gas systems, automation
- Professional registration with a relevant Engineering body
