My client, a Product Design company situated in Cambridge are currently seeking a Contract Design Engineer for a period of 6 months.
The role carries responsibility for aesthetic form, user interface and ergonomics in projects across consumer and healthcare sectors, frequently of world-first products. Applicants should have an interest in new technology.
- 2:1 or higher degree in industrial design or a related discipline
- A creative thinker and concept generator
- Excellent hand sketching ability
- Strong 2D digital presentation skills
- 3D CAD experience, preferably of Solidworks or ProEngineer
- 3D CAD rendering skills
- Comfortable with hands-on modelling and workshop skills
