A Global Leader in Advanced Braking Technology is seeking a Senior Design Engineer (Mechanical) to lead project teams and carry out all aspects of design for manufacture of the company’s mechanical products, whilst providing technical support.
You’ll be working to ISO 9001 standards as relating to product design project work and order processing. You’ll be project managing new and existing products as well as individual one-off projects.
One of your key responsibilities will include using and exploiting the company’s 3D CAD system to its maximum capability. You’ll be of a similar working background with a proven track record of several years Mechanical Design experience and will be educated to HNC Level (Ideally in Mechanical Engineering), or equivalent work experience.
You’ll be experienced with 3D Solid Modelling and will have Project Management experience. A background in a Heavy Component Environment would certainly hold you in good stead.
