Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design delivery across a variety of building services projects
- Develop innovative and practical HVAC solutions from concept through to detailed design
- Manage project programmes, resources, and technical deliverables
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and wider project teams
- Undertake design reviews and ensure technical excellence across projects
- Mentor and support junior engineers, helping to develop the team's technical capability
- Support business development activities and contribute to strengthening existing client relationships
- Collaborate with sustainability, building physics, and electrical engineering teams to deliver integrated design solutions
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in mechanical building services design within a consultancy environment
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, building regulations, and industry best practice
- Proven experience delivering projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, education, healthcare, science & research, or mixed‑use developments
- Experience leading projects and managing client relationships
- Ability to mentor and develop engineers within a project team
- Chartered status or working towards chartership would be advantageous
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
