MEC are looking for Electricians and Electrician Mates across both the Kent and Sussex region to support the delivery of major water treatment projects across AMP 8.

Role Summary

  • Installation of containment systems
  • Cable installation
  • Glanding SWA cables
  • Terminating Power, Control and Instrumentation cables
  • Installation of electrical equipment
  • Inspection and Testing
  • Understand and interpret technical drawings / instructions
  • Understanding of Inspection Test Plans and handover processes

Key Requirements

  • ECS / JIB Electrician / Approved Electrician
  • BS7671 18th Edition
  • Industrial experience
  • IPAF
  • SMSTS / SSSTS (particularly for supervisory roles)

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Water Treatment Experience
  • Test and Inspection (2391-52)
  • Commissioning
  • Water Hygiene EUSR
  • Working knowledge of WIMES / CDM regulations
  • IPAF
  • Site supervision
  • Working hours 7am - 5pm
