Operations Manager – Bridgend – £50,000 plus excellent benefits Our client a leading provider of complete engineering management and support for the maritime and industrial industries are looking to recruit an Operations Manager for their prestigious site based in Bridgend. The Operations Manager will play an integral role in overseeing the effective day-to-day running of the head office function and will entail liaising with each worksite to ensure all teams are operating efficiently, providing senior management with KPI reporting and analysis. Salary: £50,000 plus excellent benefits. Working hours: 8:45am – 16:45pm, Monday to Friday Benefits to include: 33 days holiday, pension. Location: Bridgend Operations Manager Responsibilities: * Managing office employees and work distribution. * Lead a small team, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure efficiency and productivity * Implementing and develop operational policies * Maintaining Compliance / Health & Safety standards * Monitoring and Reporting of Recruitment Profile * Collaborate with Senior Management & HR to ensure staffing needs are met, providing detailed recruitment status reports to management. * Control of Accommodation and Fleet Transport Profile * Implement and develop supply chain improvements The successful candidate: * Experience in resource management * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills * Proven record of managing employees with outstanding organisational skills. * Operations Management experience with excellent communication skills * Strong working knowledge of all MS Packages * Data management and Reporting * Highly self-motivated, proactive, personable and a team player * Copes well under pressure whilst working to tight deadlines This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager who is looking to join a well-established organisation and become part of a truly first-rate Facility in the Bridgend area
