Please note: This role involves working at height on flat roofs and regular travel to commercial retail sites in the Newport, Bristol/Somerset areas.
Purpose of the Role:
- Leading a small team of roof maintenance and roof cleaning operatives
- Carrying out very minor repairs on flat roofs, cleaning out guttering and removing accumulated items from the flat roofs
- Estimation of costs for replacement guttering, roof felt etc.
- Ensuring that RAMS and health and safety protocols are strictly adhered to at all times
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Team Leader or Maintenance Supervisor
- Experience of working at heights
- Building Maintenance and repair experience - experience of minor roof repairs would be an advantage
- Happy to work at height
- Full UK Driving licence
- IPAF would be preferred but isn't essential
