Our client a leading Specialist Manufacturer of machined components for the Aerospace sector is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer for their prestigious clients site based in Bristol. The Manufacturing Engineer will play an integral part in ensuring product quality, improving operational efficiency and diving continuous improvement across production.

Salary: £40 – £50k DOE, plus excellent benefits.

Location: Bristol

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for aerospace components.

* Create and maintain 3D models and CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.

* Evaluate and improve existing production methods to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

* Ensure all processes comply with aerospace quality and safety standards ISO9001, AS9100.

* Manage and support new product introduction (NPI) and process transfer projects.

The successful candidate:

* Strong understanding of CNC machining, assembly processes, and aerospace-grade materials.

* Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within the aerospace sector.

* Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, particularly SolidWorks and Solid CAM.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

* Skilled in identifying issues, analysing root causes, and implementing corrective actions.

* High level of accuracy and commitment to quality, with a focus on achieving zero defects and Right First-Time production.
